MSI Gl65 leopard VS 2020 Acer Helios 300
MSI Gl65 leopard VS 2020 Acer Helios 300 are midrange laptops affordable and offer great gaming performance. Both increase the value of a gaming laptop in ways that have never been seen before. When it comes to taking high-powered gaming PCs to the next level, you can rest easy.
The Acer Predator Helios 300 (17″, 2020) is powered by a 45W Intel Comet Lake 6-core Intel Core i7-10750H processor. The 2020 MSI GL65 Leopard 10SX comes with a 45W Intel Comet Lake quad-core Intel Core i5-10300H up to an 8-core Intel Core i7-10875H with a boost speed 5.10 GHz.
Both laptops are best for you as a gamer. These laptops are the first choice of all gamers because of their different great features. Now we going to discuss all the amazing features both laptops have;
Features of MSI Gl65 leopard VS 2020 Acer Helios 300
The brushed aluminum on the display back and the palm rest of the keyboard give the laptop an unexpectedly upscale feel, and the chassis’ stiffness also helps. It has the appearance of a gaming pc, and the red accents aren’t subtle.
However, it does not, in my opinion, go beyond in its attention-seeking antics. There are other parts, such as around the screen and towards the bottom, where plastic reigns supreme.
It doesn’t have the reassuringly robust feel of an Alienware, but it doesn’t feel cheap either. As a result, we are willing to overlook it.
The MSI GL63 is a budget gaming laptop with a traditional design. It’s huge, bulky, and made of plastic. With that configuration, the weight is 2.2 kg, which is about average for a gaming laptop.
The top lid has a clean matte appearance, but it draws relatively few fingerprints, and even if it does, the streaks are barely noticeable.
The rest of the design footprint is traditional MSI, with two air vents in the back and on both sides of the body. The MSI dragon shield lights when the lid is flipped on and has two red stripes that do not develop.
Inside, you will find the usual keyboard layout, the cooler boost fan keys, and the Dragon Center keys.
Acer Helios 300 Dimensions
The Helios 300 measures 362mm wide, 254mm deep, and 22.9mm tall. The laptop weighs roughly 2.3 kilos, with the charger adding another 2.9 kilograms to the total weight.
Compared to the Helios 300, this laptop has a larger design, with dimensions of 383.5 x 259.1 x 30.5 mm and a similar weight. (2.2Kg)

The trackpad is back to being pretty decent; it’s accurate, and tap to click and gestures work well; however, I wish the effort required to touch the trackpad was less, so moving files around a little easier.
The keyboard is also rather nice. Again, the keypress force is a little too high, and the keys are a little mushy, so I can’t press the keys as quickly as I could on an Alienware or a Surface Laptop, which is a pity because quick and accurate keypresses are a bonus on a gaming laptop.
However, it accomplishes the task at hand, and the addition of both a backlight and a full number pad is welcome.
This is a Steelseries keyboard, so we know exactly what to expect. However, because this is a cheap gaming laptop, you won’t receive red backlighting or the ability to control the keys’ lighting. Still, in this price range, SteelSeries keyboards are enough.
The keys are supple and provide excellent tactile sensation. There’s just the proper amount of grit to it, as well as plenty of key travel. Overall, the typing and gaming experience is adequate, though not as nice as on other of MSI’s higher-end gaming laptops.
On MSI, the trackpad is a big tradeoff. Tracking is fine, although it takes a lot of work at times, scrolling with it is a hassle, and motions are hit-or-miss. As a result, be doing yourself a service and use a separate mouse.
The battery in the predator Heroes 300 lasts a long time for a gaming laptop. When watching videos and performing some office work, set the screen brightness to 75%, and the videos were playing in the background. We were able to get 4 hours and 57 minutes out of it.
MSI Gl65 leopard VS 2020 Acer Helios 300 If you’re a student or carry a laptop with you all the time, a gaming laptop with 5 hours of battery life should be enough. You can certainly prolong the battery life by reducing the screen brightness.
Gaming laptops aren’t known for their battery life, and this one is no exception. It contains a modest 41-watt-hour battery that will last you about 2.5 hours when used normally but closer to an hour while gaming.
If you’re going outside, you’ll have to take your charger with you.

It’s rare to get an IPS screen on a budget gaming laptop. Although the viewing angles and contrast ratio are excellent, there is still icing on the cake. Average E values of 5.67 are only acceptable if you don’t see large outliers and cover more than 67 percent of the sRGB color space.
Maximum brightness is better described as maximum “glowyness,” and average E values of 5.67 are only acceptable if you don’t see large outliers and cover more than 67 percent of the sRGB color space.
We are simply saying that unless you’d like to invest in a second monitor to evaluate your work. You would not be performing any real video editing or Photoshop.
We get a 15.6-inch full HD display with a TN LCD panel, which results in less-than-ideal viewing angles and slightly above-average color distribution and accuracy. As a result, the screen becomes a content production bottleneck.
That screen, on the other hand, is more than adequate for gaming or everyday media consumption. Apart from the viewing angles, all other parts of media consumption are satisfactory.
The display has bezels surrounding it, but so do many other gaming laptops in this price bracket, so that’s acceptable.
